Carmen Retegan, co-founder and General Director, has over 20 years of experience in finance and banking. She is the founder and ex-General Director of Domenia Credit – the first financial institution in Romania to grant exclusively mortgage loans. Her career in mortgage loans started in the USA where she developed a risk balancing technique for real estate portfolios with fixed income. After returning to Romania, Carmen was actively involved in developing the Romanian mortgage market, including the legislation process. Carmen is an ex member of the Transilvania Bank Board of Directors and, since 2012, she is a member of The Romanian-American Foundation Board of Directors.
